About the project

The Wine Centre needed a modern platform that could support their growing catalogue of WSET courses and create a smoother, more reliable enrolment experience for students. We redesigned their Joomla website in WordPress and WooCommerce and refined the integration with CapsuleCRM to create a streamlined, automated workflow. The goal was to ensure course details, updates and enrolments moved cleanly through the system, while giving students a clearer, faster journey from browsing to booking.

Key actions
  • Website rebuild and UX improvements – Delivered a modern, responsive site designed to make course discovery and booking simple and intuitive.
  • WooCommerce implementation – Set up a robust course-booking system supporting variations, availability, secure payments, and a smoother checkout flow.
  • Two-way CRM integration – Built a synchronised connection between CapsuleCRM and WooCommerce to automate course publishing and student enrolments.
  • Operational streamlining – Streamlined how course information is updated and how enrolments are processed, supporting a more efficient internal workflow.

Our solution

We built a WordPress and WooCommerce site designed around clarity, structure and reliability. Course information was reorganised to make browsing easier, while product pages were adapted to match the unique requirements of WSET qualifications. The integration with CapsuleCRM was refined so that course data, variations and availability updates move through the system automatically. Every booking placed on the website now creates a matching enrolment in CapsuleCRM without any manual steps. This combination of a modernised site and an automated CRM workflow created a cohesive system that simplifies administration while improving the user experience.

The outcome

Across the four-year period from 2021 to 2025, The Wine Centre saw significant growth in both visibility and user engagement. Active users increased by 1,988%, and new users rose by 1,972%, showing a far larger audience discovering their courses and exploring the website. Interaction levels also improved, with event activity growing by 2,695%. Key course pages and the checkout journey experienced multi-fold increases in views and activity, suggesting that students were navigating the site more confidently and progressing further toward enrolment.

Alongside these behavioural gains, the automated link between WooCommerce and CapsuleCRM created a smoother, more dependable operational flow. Course updates move through the system without additional admin work, and new bookings are enrolled immediately, giving staff a consistent, reliable process during busy periods. The combination of a modernised website, clear user journeys and a strengthened CRM integration continues to support rising enrolments and year-on-year growth for WSET courses.

"Highly recommend the guys at Radiant Web. Our WooCommerce site works very well including some initially tricky database integration. They now manage our site and are always on hand with support, often going that extra mile showing they care about their customers."
